Terms of Service

1. Scope and acceptance

These terms apply to everything you do on kurdoff.com (“KurdOff”, “the platform”): browsing, creating an account, ordering, and — for sellers — the separate vendor terms apply on top of these.

KurdOff is launching gradually; features marked “coming soon” are not yet contractual services. When a feature goes live, these terms cover it from day one.

2. Definitions

• “Platform” — the kurdoff.com website and its services, operated by Barmaan Trading Company (BTC).
• “Vendor” — an independent seller (brand, distributor or shop) offering products on the platform.
• “Customer” — anyone with an account or placing an order.
• “Content” — text, images, guides and other material published on the platform.

3. Accounts

You can register with an email or phone number plus a password, with a one-time email code, or through Google or Facebook. Provide accurate information and keep your credentials to yourself — actions taken through your account count as yours.

Accounts are for adults (18+) or minors under a guardian's supervision. One person, one account. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse or violations of these terms; where practical we warn first.

4. A multi-vendor marketplace

KurdOff is a marketplace: unless a listing explicitly says otherwise, products are sold by independent vendors, and the sales contract for a product is between you and that vendor. Each product page names its seller.

The platform's role: providing the storefront, order handling and communication, setting and enforcing quality rules (see prohibited items), and mediating disputes between customers and vendors. The vendor's role: the accuracy of its listings, the authenticity and condition of its products, stock, and fulfilling orders on time.

5. Orders, prices and delivery

An order is an offer to buy; it is accepted when confirmed by the platform or the vendor. Prices, currencies, shipping methods, costs and delivery estimates for your address are shown at checkout before you confirm.

Obvious listing errors (impossible prices, wrong products) may be cancelled with a full refund of anything paid. Delivery coverage spans Iran and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq; exact options depend on your address.

6. Prohibited items and conduct

Strictly prohibited on the platform:

• Counterfeit or imitation cosmetics of any kind
• Expired products, or products without a legible expiry date where one is required
• Opened, used or reconditioned cosmetics sold as new
• Medical or therapeutic claims that a product's registration does not support
• Fake reviews, manipulated ratings, or buying/selling reviews
• Any unlawful content or conduct, scraping, or attacks on the platform's security

7. Content and intellectual property

The platform's content — guides, articles, photography and design — belongs to KurdOff or its licensors. You may share links and quote briefly with attribution; republishing whole pages or datasets requires written permission.

Vendors are responsible for the content they upload and must hold the rights to it. Reviews you write may be displayed on the platform with your first name.

8. Liability

For product defects, authenticity and safety, the selling vendor is liable as the seller under applicable law; the platform enforces its rules and mediates but is not the manufacturer or seller of vendor products.

The platform is provided with reasonable care but “as is” — we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent the law allows, the platform's liability for a transaction is limited to the amount you paid in that transaction. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer law in your country grants you and that cannot be waived.

9. Disputes

Talk to us first — most problems (damaged delivery, wrong item, refund) are resolved within days through support. If a dispute cannot be settled amicably, the law of the seat of the operator — the Kurdistan Region of Iraq — applies to the platform relationship, without limiting mandatory consumer protections where you live.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the platform grows; the date at the top always reflects the latest version, and material changes are announced on the site. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
