The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 (Aura Edition) is Lenovo's newest ultralight flagship for business users: built on a redesigned "Space Frame" chassis, it starts at roughly 996 grams and measures 9.2 to 16.4 mm thick. The top cover is a bio-based carbon-fibre weave and the base is magnesium, tested to the MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standard. Lenovo reports an iFixit repairability score of 9 out of 10 for this model, unusually high for this class of laptop.
The processor comes from Intel's third-generation Core Ultra family ("Panther Lake") and, depending on configuration, is a Core Ultra 5 335, Core Ultra 7 355 or Core Ultra 7 365 (the two higher tiers offered with optional vPro). Memory is soldered LPDDR5X (16GB, 32GB or 64GB) and storage is a PCIe Gen4 SSD in 256GB, 512GB or 1TB. The 14-inch display comes in two real options: a 500-nit WUXGA (1920x1200) IPS panel, or a 2.8K (2880x1800) OLED panel with variable refresh up to 120Hz and HDR500 True Black.
The 58Whr battery is customer-replaceable and rapid-charges to 80% in 60 minutes with a 65W-or-higher adapter. The backlit keyboard keeps the signature red TrackPoint nub, alongside a glass haptic touchpad. Connectivity includes up to three Thunderbolt 4/USB4 ports, one USB-A port, one HDMI 2.1 port and a 3.5mm audio jack; Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 are standard, with an optional 5G modem and nano-SIM slot.
Security includes a discrete TPM 2.0 chip and a fingerprint reader built into the power button; a webcam with an IR sensor for Windows Hello face login is standard (5MP, with an optional 10MP/110-degree-field-of-view upgrade). It ships with Windows 11 Pro. Buy the original ThinkPad X1 Carbon in Erbil and the Kurdistan Region from Kurdoff — contact the seller for the exact RAM/storage configuration and today's price.
