Visit the storeValentino Donna Eau de Parfum is the house's classic women's fragrance, launched in 2015 and still one of Valentino's best-known feminine scents. It was composed by Sonia Constant and Antoine Maisondieu, and it is built the way an haute couture atelier works: one expensive fabric and one clear seam.
It opens on bergamot and grapefruit, moves into a floral-powdery heart of iris and Bulgarian rose with a small praline sweetness, and settles on leather, vanilla and patchouli. That leathery drydown is what separates Donna from ordinary florals and is why most references describe it as a modern floral chypre (Fragrantica files it under Oriental Floral). The result is a composed, formal scent that most wearers choose for daytime and cooler seasons.
The bottle carries the Valentino signature too: faceted glass with Rockstud pyramids, a pink-to-clear gradient, a gold metal plaque reading VALENTINO and a gold cap. Note that this is not Valentino Donna Born in Roma — that one arrived in 2019 with a jasmine-and-vanilla pyramid and black hardware, and smells nothing like this.
