The brand describes it as a scent inspired by the American West: rich black leather set against a wild desert landscape.
The structure is simple but powerful. It opens on warm, spicy cardamom, moves through a heart of black leather accord, jasmine sambac and violet leaf, and settles on amber, white moss and patchouli. That pairing of dry leather with jasmine is exactly what makes Ombré Leather read as masculine and feminine at once, and why it is worn by everyone. It was composed by Sonia Constant of Givaudan, the same perfumer behind the 2016 version.
Mind the names: "Ombré Leather 16" was a 2016 Private Blend release in a rectangular bottle and is discontinued; "Ombré Leather Parfum" is the more concentrated 2021 version with a white label. This listing is the 2018 Eau de Parfum in the matte black cylindrical bottle with the black leather label. Official sizes are 10, 50, 100 and 150 ml — this is the 100 ml bottle.
