Visit the storeMontblanc Explorer Eau de Parfum is a woody-aromatic men's fragrance with a leathery signature, launched in 2019 and quickly established as one of the world's most popular everyday masculine scents. Its concept is a journey around the world: each key ingredient comes from a different continent — bergamot from Italy, vetiver from Haiti and patchouli from Indonesia.
The scent opens with sparkling bergamot and pink pepper, reaches a smoky vetiver-and-leather heart, and settles into a warm, long-lasting base of Ambroxan, Akigalawood, Indonesian patchouli leaf and cacao pod. It was composed by three renowned Givaudan perfumers — Jordi Fernandez, Antoine Maisondieu and Olivier Pescheux — using premium materials such as OrPur-grade bergamot and vetiver and the exclusive Akigalawood note.
The bottle carries Montblanc's signature too: a Saffiano-textured leather-look sleeve inspired by the brand's leather goods, with the snowcap star emblem on the cap and base. As an Eau de Parfum it is richer and longer-lasting than an Eau de Toilette, and Explorer is widely considered a versatile daily choice for most seasons.
