Visit the storeDunhill Desire for a Man — widely sold in the region simply as "Desire Red" — was launched in 2000 and is the first and best known member of the large Desire family. Composed by Michel Almairac, it sits in the oriental-woody family: a fruity, citrus opening that quickly turns warm and sweet.
It opens on apple, lemon, bergamot and orange blossom, moves through a heart of rose, teak wood and patchouli, and settles on vanilla and musk. That apple-and-vanilla signature is what separates Desire Red from its cooler siblings. Global user voting agrees: it performs best in autumn and winter, and in the evening and at night.
The bottle is part of the brand's identity: red glass shaped like a hip flask, a nod to Dunhill's travel-accessory heritage, with a hinged, diamond-cut silver cap that stays attached to the body. The red box is printed "dunhill LONDON DESIRE" with "EAU DE TOILETTE FOR MEN … 3.4 FL. OZ./100 mL" along the base. Note that this is the Eau de Toilette concentration, not an Eau de Parfum.
