It was composed by Amandine Clerc-Marie and Michel Almairac around the rose — but a rose rendered fresh, powdery and modern rather than heavy and classical.
The scent opens with peony, lychee and freesia, moves through a heart of rose, lily-of-the-valley and magnolia, and settles on a base of Virginia cedar and amber. The result is a bright, clean floral that works for the office and for the evening alike; in global user voting the floral and rose accords dominate, with the woody base providing structure rather than weight.
